Fred T Martin Member Of The Year Honorees
The Member of the Year award is named in honor of Fred Martin, a dedicated member of club for 50 years. Fred served as an Officer of the Club for 29 years in roles as Fleet Captain and Secretary. He was a prolific cruiser; small boar cruising was his passion. Fred enjoyed sailing on Penobscot Bay, often single-handed, well into his 80's.
